TWO MUST HAVE BLACKWORK BOOKS
Our two most popular books of all time (well the eleven years we have been selling design books) are 100 Blackwork Charts and Another 100 Blackwork Charts. These two books are just what they seem. They are full of large graphs of linear designs from original textiles found in English museums. They have been charted from the original embroideries and given modern names to help you remember them. There are no instructions in the books, just designs. You will find bands of every sort, filling patterns and spot motifs (including fanciful animals). These books will allow you to stitch up a sampler, embellish costume, decorate table linens, you get the picture.
